This is a cooperative program between Union County Vocational-Technical School and UCNJ365bet 新泽西州联合县. All courses are taught by UCNJ faculty and all Automotive Technology professors are ASE certified. Courses are offered exclusively within UCNJ’s Scotch Plains campus, a state-of-the-art automotive facility of the Vocational-Technical School.

Why Study Automotive Technology?
The Automotive Technology Program is a competency-based course of study designed to train and prepare the serious student in eight automotive areas: A/C & 加热，刹车，转向 & 悬架、电器 & 电子维修, 发动机的性能, 发动机维修, 手动传动系统, and Automatic Transmissions. Eligible Auto Technology students may participate in work activities such as internships, 指导, apprenticeships and Cooperative Industrial Education.
Upon graduating the student will be eligible to take ASE certification exams. Union County Vocational School is an ASE certified testing center. Graduates are qualified to work in all automotive service facilities. Employment opportunities include dealerships, independent & 专卖店, 连锁商店, 市, fleet and corporate facilities as well as self employment. This AAS degree may not be transferable to a four-year institution, but many of the non-technology courses may transfer.
